Local Scholarships

The following scholarships are offered specifically from P.E.O. Chapter K.  Completed applications may be emailed to burgess[at]fdlpl.org or mailed to:

Marguerite Award Application

The Marguerite Award was established in 2014 to assist girls with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.  It is a $ 1,000 award given to a graduating female senior who lives in or attends high school in Fond du Lac County.  See the application below for full eligibility details.  Applications are due April 15.

Anna Giffin Sweet Award

Anna Giffin Sweet was a founding member of PEO Chapter K.  This award began in the 1930s as a $10 gold piece.  Today, this $ 1,000 scholarship is awarded to a female senior at Fond du Lac High School in the top 10% of her graduating class.  Applications are due by April 15. 

Independent Woman Award

This scholarship was established with bequests from former PEO Chapter K members.  This $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a Fond du Lac County woman with at least 30 hours of post-high school education.  She must have achieved a minimum 2.5 GPA out of a 4.0 scale.  Applications are due by April 15.
